Gambler’s Health Southern works with professionals and community partners on health promotion activities and supplies a range of gambling education and help services.
These include:
Specialist Provider Education – services available for health and welfare professionals; guidance and referral assistance for allied health professionals.
Venue Support Program – educating and supporting staff who work in Electronic Gaming Venues.
Community Education – educators deliver talks and printed information to community groups regarding responsible gambling
Portfolio Services – Linking client needs with allied health departments such as Mental Health, Drug & Alcohol, Family & Relationship, Youth and Corrections.

Primary Care Partnerships
Gambler’s Help Southern is a member of four local Primary Care Partnerships, comprising many agencies and organisations from a wide range of sectors. Working together, the partners use a mix of strategies to address priority health and wellbeing issues, including those associated with gambling issues. There is also an opportunity to raise members’ awareness of gambling as a public health issue.
