Call for Artworks Submission

Are you interested in art? Do you enjoy creative activities?

Amateur and professional artists are invited to submit artworks for two upcoming art exhibitions this October:

(1)       ‘Making our mark’ inter-agency art exhibition at Kingston Arts Centre from 7th Oct to 1st Nov 2016

(2)       ‘Celebrating creativity and mental well-aeing’ art exhibition at Connect Health & Community from 7th Oct to 1st Nov 2016y

The art exhibitions aim to encourage our community to get involved in creative activities and to promote mental well-being through art. The theme of the exhibitions is ‘increasing our sense of well-being and self-esteem’. Entries are open to clients, carers, consumer representatives, volunteers, members and staff of Connect Health & Community. Entry is free and the successful applicants can have their artworks available for sale in the exhibition.

Artwork must be 2 dimensional and A3 in size. Artists can submit up to 2 works. Please refer to Art exhibitions Entry Form or email l.wan@bbch.org.au for more information.


Key dates

  • Entries close 31st August 2016
  • You will be notified via email the outcome of your submission by 7th September 2016.
  • If successful, your artwork must be delivered to Connect Health & Community – Bentleigh East site by 16th September 2016.
  • Exhibition’s Opening Function at Kingston Art Gallery will be held on 6 October 2016 between 6pm and 8pm. Exhibition’s Opening at Connect Health & Community: TBA. Date not yet scheduled.
